Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) PSA Behavioral Health Agency

Overview: Rapidly growing nonprofit behavioral health organization is seeking CFO to lead and oversee financial activities. Candidate will be responsible for monthly financial reporting and analysis. Implementation and maintenance of financial system software; supervision of accounting, billing, and information systems functions; implementation and monitoring of an annual operating and capital budget. Coordination of annual independent financial audit.

Qualifications: This position requires: understanding of accounting standards for not for profit organizations; skills in negotiating contracts; program based budgeting; and knowledge of behavior health reimbursement principles. Position: Chief Financial Office the EXCEL group, Inc.

Overview: The EXCEL group, Inc. is currently accepting applications for Chief Financial Officer. Candidate must have experience with total restructuring of financial system, trouble shooting and reconciliation of uncollected claims, and knowledge of administering federal government contracts.

Salary: Salary range is $75,000-$125,000.

Location: Located in Yuma, Arizona, the EXCEL group, Inc. is the largest provider of Behavioral Health services in Yuma and La Paz Counties. With annual contracts totaling over $20,000,000 and a customer base of approximately 3,500, it operates seven locations with a staff of nearly 300 employees. A comprehensive array of behavioral health services is offered which includes psychiatric and counseling services, substance abuse treatment programs, primary health care, Healthy Families program, housing services, vocational training, and employment services.

Responsibilities: The CFO position is responsible for the management of financial services within the company. The position is responsible for overall corporate accounting, financial planning, budgeting, indirect cost rate setting (under federal guidelines), and financial/operation analyses. The CFO coordinates corporate financial reporting activities and has overall responsibility for claims administration. Working with clinical directors and managers, the CFO is responsible for services utilization planning, projections and analyses. Working with Chief Executive Officer, the CFO coordinates corporate mergers, acquisitions, capital improvements, and development of the company’s business relationships and affiliations. The CFO is responsible for ensuring that corporate financial functions are consistent with the company’s stated goals and objectives.

Qualifications:
— Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required coupled with 10 years increasing experience in corporate accounting, finance, management and planning. Graduate degree in Business Administration with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 7 years increasing experience in corporate accounting, finance, management, and planning is preferred. Experience with nonprofits is preferred.
Abilities: Must possess knowledge of accounting and financial management practices and procedures, including preparation of budgets and analyses of budget variances. Possess demonstrated skill in developing comprehensive, understandable reports and presentations of complex financial information. Must be able to orient, train, supervise, and evaluate staff. Must be able to administer computerized financial information systems. Must possess demonstrated skill in preparation of financial information necessary for grant applications, and ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team.

Position: Crisis Systems Development Project Manager CPSA

Hiring Range: $47,200 - $59,000 plus benefits

General Description: Coordinates activities to ensure a sufficient crisis response network for all populations within GSA 3 and GSA 5. Works in collaboration with the Chief, Clinical Systems Management in the oversight, monitoring, and analysis of CPSA contractual requirements related to the assurance of the adequacy and sufficiency of the crisis system. Coordinates activities focused on the design, development, implementation and monitoring of strategic action plans related to the crisis system. Coordinates development activities focused on new and newly expanded crisis services that will serve to better integrate and enhance the current behavioral health crisis continuum.

Qualifications Required: Master's degree in a behavioral health field plus three (3) years experience in working with adult and children’s crisis programs. Must be willing to obtain certification as required by the State of Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners or other credentials acceptable under Title XIX certification requirements. The preferred candidate will have significant experience focused on the design, development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic action plans related to the crisis system. Advanced written and verbal communication skills and advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are also preferred.

Position: Project Facilitator — Southwest Behavioral Health Services

Southwest Behavioral Health is currently seeking a project facilitator. The current vacancy is within our Community & Youth Development program. Provides coordination and supervision for administration, and program services related to behavioral health prevention for children, youth families, and local communities. Meet with administrators from all partner organizations to enlist their commitment. Assist with FAST site determination and program implementation. Assist Director with development of program policies and procedures that comply with prevention certification. Complete all necessary reports in a timely fashion (i.e. quarterly reports). Engages in grant writing and/or proposal writing as new opportunities become available. Recruit, hire, train, monitor, & provide supervision for FAST project staff. Attend FAST training and certification meetings and assist with training. Coordinator FAST team trainings. Schedule and facilitate collaborative team meetings and maintain good communication among partners. Facilitate the development of FAST and FASTWORKS implementation/ Develops and maintains necessary collaboration with community agencies, entities and funding sources. Coordinate and assign someone to assist with the distribution, collection and returning of FAST outcome evaluation instruments and forms. Participates in meetings and committees relevant to program function and/or position responsibilities within the agency. Maintain open and ongoing communication between team members, management and the community. Demonstrates ability to work well under pressure.

Education and Experience: Req's Master’s degree in the behavioral health or related field (psychology, social work, education) + 2 yrs’ direct exp. in prevention services or two years of job-related courses and seminars on the college level plus five years of directly related experience or equivalency accepted. Bilingual ability (English/Spanish) required. Must have knowledge of Science based/proven prevention methods, Technology of Development and program strategies. Knowledge of effective substance abuse and mental health prevention approaches/strategies. Ability to provide prevention services for children, youth and adults.

Working Conditions: Requires prolonged sitting and standing. Requires frequent bending, stooping or stretching. Requires the use of office equipment, such as computer terminals, typewriters, telephones and copiers.

Salary: Starting salary range is $32,963 - $47,796
